Although his departure is a great loss for our institute, we are pleased to announce that Eduard Esau has accepted a tenure-track assistant professorship in Innovation Ecosystems & New Product Development at Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands) starting January 1, 2025. There, he will conduct research and teach in the Innovation, Technology Entrepreneurship, and Marketing (ITEM) Group.
In recent years, Eduard has made a significant contribution to the development of our institute. First as a doctoral student and then, after successfully completing his doctorate, as a postdoctoral researcher, he was responsible for the field of innovation and entrepreneurship in research and teaching. Eduard can be described as a scientist with diverse interests, a flexible approach, and a practical orientation. His research projects on business model innovations, innovation ecosystems, and sustainable entrepreneurship have yielded many exciting findings and have been very well received by the scientific community. As a co-initiator of hannovate, he has also made a valuable contribution to start-up support at Leibniz University Hannover.
As the institute team, we congratulate Eduard on his appointment at Eindhoven University of Technology and wish him all the best for his future work. The city and university can look forward to having him!
